Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated: 11 August 2026

Who can request deletion

Anyone whose personal data is processed by QHT Messaging can request its deletion:

  • Customers — a business owner can request deletion of their entire workspace: account, team members, contacts, and WhatsApp conversation history.
  • Team members — an individual team member can request deletion of their own user profile.
  • End users — if you messaged a business on WhatsApp and that business uses QHT Messaging, you can ask us to delete the messages and contact details we hold about you. You can also ask the business directly.

How to request deletion

Send an email to info@qhtclinic.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include:

  • Your name;
  • The email address registered with QHT Messaging (for account/workspace deletion), sent from that same address so we can verify it is you;
  • For end users: the WhatsApp phone number the conversation took place on, and (if known) the name of the business you messaged;
  • What you want deleted — your whole account/workspace, your user profile, or specific WhatsApp conversation data.

What happens next

  • We acknowledge your request within 48 hours and may ask for additional details to verify your identity.
  • Once verified, we delete the requested data from our production systems within 30 days of the request.
  • We send you a confirmation email when the deletion is complete.

Some records are retained even after deletion where the law requires it — for example payment and tax records — and are kept only for as long as those legal obligations require. Deletion from our systems does not affect copies of messages on recipients' devices or data held by Meta on the WhatsApp platform, which is governed by Meta's own policies.
